Description

We are working with a Private Equity firm that is seeking a Senior Associate / Vice President to join its technology-focused private equity investment team. The role offers broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle, including sourcing, diligence, execution, portfolio management, and exit.

The professional will evaluate and execute investments across software, tech-enabled services, fintech, data/AI, cybersecurity, and digital businesses, working closely with senior team members, advisors, and portfolio company management.

Responsibilities include:
* Sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities through thematic research, market mapping, and intermediary relationships
* Leading or supporting financial modeling, valuation, and investment committee materials
* Managing diligence workstreams and coordinating third-party advisors
* Supporting deal execution, including LOIs, negotiations, and closing processes
* Working with portfolio company management teams on strategic initiatives, value creation, and add-on acquisitions
* Monitoring portfolio performance and assisting with board-level reporting
* Mentoring junior team members and contributing to firm-wide initiatives (more heavily at the VP level)

Qualifications:
* 4-6+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, growth equity, or related investing roles
* Strong financial modeling, analytical, and communication skills
* Prior exposure to technology or software-based business models strongly preferred
* Ability to operate independently, manage multiple workstreams, and work closely with senior stakeholders
