| Physical Requirements | The physical requirements of this position include: Occasional lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 25lbs; regularly standing or walking with objects 10-25lbs; regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with regular repetitive motions (such as typing); utilizing mouse, keyboard, and phone for portions of the day. Ability to travel to various locations on and off-campus for meetings. |

| Job Summary | Keep the University Securely and Reliably Connected The University of Kentucky is seeking a Network Specialist IV to join our Information Technology Services team, supporting enterprise networking and infrastructure. This position is part of UK's evolving IT strategy and will report through the Technology Services department in Beyond Blue effective July 1, 2026. This role sits at the core of connectivity, reliability, and security, helping ensure the university's network systems operate smoothly and efficiently. You'll play a key role in supporting and enhancing a complex enterprise environment by resolving issues, implementing solutions, and contributing to the stability and performance of critical infrastructure used across campus.
