Description

The Department of Computer Science at Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) in Rolla, Missouri, is seeking outstanding applicants for a non-tenure-track (NTT) assistant or associate teaching faculty positions with an appointment start date of Fall 2027.  The primary duties of the job are:

1) Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses,

2) Advising students, and 

3) Service to the department and campus

Teaching faculty may also optionally pursue pedagogical research.

Is seeking applicants for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position including a tenured associate professor or a tenure-track assistant professor in Computer Science. Priority will be given to candidates in Artificial Intelligence (AI). Strong candidates in other areas can contribute to the department's current strength, such as systems and applications, including data science, cybersecurity, bioinformatics, cyber-human-physical systems, high-performance computing, pervasive and mobile computing, software engineering, and quantum computing, will also be considered. 

Requirements

Applicants must hold a PhD or MS degree in Computer Science (or a closely related field) by the appointment start date. A PhD in Computer Science is strongly preferred for the non-tenure track position and Candidates are required to hold a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field for the tenure or tenured-track position.
