About the Role:

Through expert service, strategic engagement, and personalized financial guidance, the Universal Banker supports both consumer and business clients by addressing business needs, identifying financial opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that foster long-term relationships and branch growth. Duties and responsibilities may include:
- Provide friendly, accurate service for everyday banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, wires, and foreign currency exchanges to ensure clients feel confident and valued in every interaction.
- Opening, closing, and maintaining consumer and business accounts, including ownership and beneficiary updates, to support clients through life changes and business growth while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Engage in meaningful financial conversations to uncover client goals and recommend products and services that align with their needs strengthening relationships and driving long-term financial success.
- Guiding customers through the mobile and digital banking experience, ensuring they feel support and confident using technology to manage their finances anytime.
- Educate customers on digital tools such as mobile deposits, account alerts, and e-statements to promote self-service options that save time and increase financial awareness.
- Issuing debit cards and assisting with mobile wallet setup, travel notices, and ATM locator tools, helping customers access their funds securely and conveniently whether at home or on the go.
- Navigate business customers through digital banking solutions like positive pay, ACH, mobile deposit, remote deposit capture and business credit cards to streamline operations, reduce risk, and support business growth.
- Leading moderately complex banking interactions such as credit card support, IRA servicing, and business account setup to meet diverse client needs with confidence and accuracy.
- Proactively onboarding and following up with clients to ensure satisfaction, reinforce trust, and uncover opportunities to strengthen long-term relationships.
- Monitoring suspicious activity and applying fraud detection procedures, helping protect clients and the bank from financial threats by escalating concerns promptly and appropriately.
- Collaborating with the branch team to uphold audit and operational standards, ensuring all activities align with compliance requirements and contribute to a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Driving growth through consultative engagement, cross-selling, and qualified referrals across digital and in-person channels, helping clients discover solutions that support their financial goals while contributing to branch performance.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and supporting branch initiatives, ensuring seamless operations, informed decision-making, and consistent exceptional customer experiences.
- Representing IncredibleBank at community events and participating in strategic projects, strengthening brand presence, building community connections, and contributing to the bank's long-term success.
This is a regular full-time, hourly non-exempt position, averaging approximately 40 hours/week. Schedule may vary between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:30 pm CST Monday through Friday and 9 am to 12 pm CST on Saturdays.
This position will work on-site at our IncredibleBank branch location in Minocqua, WI. Intermittent travel may be required to support other bank locations.

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 24 years of experience in a client-centric banking role, encompassing both transactional and consultative responsibilities.
- Completion of specialized programs (e.g., Personal Banker School) within the first year of employment is highly valued.
- Demonstrated proficiency in analysis, mathematics, and clear communication skills.
- Proven ability to build trust and deliver tailored, high-quality service.
- Strong awareness of risk and compliance, supported by hands-on experience in fraud prevention.
- Technologically adept and adaptable in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- A collaborative mindset with demonstrated leadership potential and a commitment to team success.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital banking platforms.
