About the Role
POSITION
The Investment Management Oversight and Technology team within the Funds Group plays a critical role in ensuring that the Investment Fund Manager (IFM) operates in full compliance with Luxembourg regulatory requirements. This position oversees the strategic and operational aspects of portfolio management, ensuring that delegated managers adhere to investment guidelines, risk limits, and governance standards. In parallel, the team ensures robust IT governance, cybersecurity, and system integrity to support efficient and secure investment operations.
Furthermore, the team's focus extends to driving digital transformation and implementing innovative solutions. This includes managing IT projects, ensuring data quality, and fostering automation and efficiency across the group. Together, these responsibilities combine regulatory oversight, investment expertise, and technology leadership to safeguard investor interests and enable operational excellence.
The Fund Investment Oversight & Technology Analyst will provide analytical, operational, and governance support to the Conducting Officer responsible for Investment Management and IT. This role ensures effective oversight of delegated portfolio managers, compliance with regulatory requirements, and process automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency across the group.
Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Prepare detailed reports on investment activities, performance attribution, and compliance with investment policies.
- Assist in due diligence and ongoing monitoring of delegated portfolio managers.
- Prepare ExCo and Board presentations and analysis for the Conducting Officer.
- Produce dashboards and KPIs for investment performance and IT-related indicators.
- Document workflows and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Assist in digitalization and automation projects.
- Act as point of contact for queries related to investment and IT oversight.
The ideal candidate for the role will have:
- Minimum bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fund analysis, investment oversight, digital transformation, or similar role within an IFM or asset management environment.
- Solid understanding of Luxembourg fund structures, including UCITS and Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs); knowledge of Private Equity is considered a strong advantage.
- Strong technical skills in coding and data analytics, including proficiency in Python and SQL, as well as experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Knowledge of Digital Operational Resiliency Act (DORA) is a strong advantage.
- Sound business judgement and the ability to synthesize complex issues and effectively balance competing objectives and risks, and the ability to think creatively to solve business problems for clients
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Project management skills, influencing, team-orientation, consensus building, and strong quantitative skills.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence concepts and experience in leveraging or developing AI agents is considered an advantage.

Our approach to compensation considers all aspects of total compensation; all employees are eligible to receive salary, variable compensation, and benefits. The base salary range for this position is:
USD 80,000 - 150,000
This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.
Base salary is only one component of Wellington's total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
